Overview :
Nikao Performance and Rehab is expanding and is now hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in Tempe, AZ .
We have full-time positions available (40 hours / week) and are also considering part-time candidates with a minimum availability of 15 hours .
For those preferring a mobile-only caseload (home visits), a minimum of 6 sessions per week is required.
The ideal candidate should be personable and possess good communication skills.
Caseload / Patient Population :
The hired Physical Therapist Assistant will work in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting treating patients of all ages with a general orthopedic caseload, including home visits.

Full-time PTAs will split their caseload between the clinic and home visits based on patient needs. Patient care is conducted in a 1 : 1 setting, with visits booked every 40 minutes .
Compensation and Benefits :
- Starting compensation for full-time positions is approximately $60,000 per year.
- Mileage reimbursement up to $500 a month ($6,000 / year).
- Retention bonus : $500 after 6 months of employment; $1,000 after 1 year.
- Benefits include a health stipend, 2 weeks of PTO , 6 paid holidays , and $1,500 per year for CEUs.
Work Schedule :
The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM . Home visits are available during the week and weekends, with flexible scheduling options.

Job Requirements :
- Eligibility for AZ state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- 1 year of prior outpatient ortho experience is required.
- Full-time (40 hours / week) and part-time candidates (15 hours with three weekdays of availability) will be considered.
