Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeWed06 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AMSat10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct screening of personnel, packages, and / or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity through continuous monitoring of entry points and observation of surroundings.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols for the location.
  • Document observations, incidents, and any unusual activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with logistics and distribution staff to maintain a secure environment and support operational needs without disrupting workflow.
  • Participate in regular and / or random patrols around the business and perimeter as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
