We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves updating and maintaining records of expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements using our ERP system. The successful candidate will handle vendor payments, data input, reconciliation, and respond to vendor and customer inquiries. Additionally, the role includes labor ticket entry for payroll and general ledger purposes and assisting Human Resources with time records and employee-related paperwork.

Responsibilities :

• Update and maintain records of expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements using the company ERP system.
• Prepare check runs to pay vendors, including data input, reconciliation, printing, copying, and mailing.
• Respond to all vendor and customer inquiries.
• Enter daily labor tickets into the labor collection system for payroll and general ledger purposes.
• Coordinate and assist Human Resources with time records and other employee-related paperwork.
• Review and process employee expense reports.
• Process and prepare invoices to be sent to vendors and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of outstanding payables.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company.
• Handle confidential or specialized information and files with sensitivity.
• Prioritize multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
• Perform other related projects and duties as assigned.

You will have the opportunity to learn about payables, payroll, and work with a Cost Accountant. The role involves handling approximately 450 invoices per month and utilizing the Epicor ERP system. The candidate should be comfortable with manual processes and enjoy working in a culture that values clear communication and teamwork.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00 / hr.
