Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator, Senior, to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Configure and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems

Installs / loads operating systems and software

Troubleshoot / maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms, using VMWare.

Build, install and configure infrastructure related software.

The ability to troubleshoot higher-level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent.

Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

Administer / maintain product security, integration and optimization within AWS platform.

Holistic troubleshooting from app layer to framework.

Lead day-to-day Operations.

Serve as SME with in-depth knowledge of Commercial Cloud

Basic Qualifications :

Shall have a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in technical discipline is required. Additional four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.

Experience providing detailed analysis and feedback to management for escalated tickets.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.

Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating environments.

Security Clearance Requirements :

Current / Active TS / SCI with Polygraph
