A 193-bed hospital is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage. There are many things to explore in Western Wisconsin! While on assignment, visit the Cave of the Mounds, Devil's Lake State Park, or the Olbrich Botanical Gardens! The schedule is 14-20 days / month including 2 weekends.
Weekdays are 7 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm. The overnight call is Monday - Thursday. Weekends are 24-hour call coverage Friday 5 : 00 pm - Monday 7 : 00 am.
The facility uses an EMR system. A BC in internal medicine / gastroenterology and a BLS are required. The clinician will need to know how to use a scope to look for polyps, and will do esophageal banding for GI bleeds and other procedures in the endoscopy suite.
The credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days. Dates Needed : 12 / 31 / 23 - 1 Year Call Ratio / Schedule : 8 of 20 nights if 1.
