Position : Infusion / Clinical Pharmacist
Start Date : ASAP
Contract Duration : 13 weeks, with the potential for hire
Shift : Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8 AM - 7 : 30 PM, with rotating "on-call" weekends

Responsibilities :
As an Infusion / Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide pharmaceutical care services, including dispensing medication, monitoring drug therapies, and consulting with medical and nursing staff.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
Key Duties :
- Ensure sound professional judgment throughout the medication use process.
- Oversee the efficient dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions from authorized healthcare providers.
- municate with providers to optimize drug therapy according to approved protocols.
- Monitor patient drug therapies and provide information to patients and healthcare providers.
- Direct pharmacy technical staff in executing technical functions.
- Screen medication orders for correctness and municate issues to the healthcare team.
- Stay informed about medication changes, new products, and regulatory pliance.
- Provide pharmacokinetic dosing advice and ensure optimal drug therapy selection.
- Maintain pliance with legal, JCAHO, federal, and state regulations.
- Exhibit courtesy and professionalism when interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Adapt to fluctuating patient flow and operational demands while maintaining quality.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy setting is required.
- Strong clinical and munication skills to effectively work with patients and providers.
- AZ pharmacist license in good standing is essential.
Important Interview Details :
Candidates will plete an infusion petency test during the on-site interview.
