Board Certified Behavior Analyst - BCBA

The Children's Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies, in historic downtown Glendale, is looking for a highly qualified BCBA – Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. We are a non-profit private school (K-12) that serves children with Autism and other developmental delays. Our school is expanding, and we need your assistance. This is a great opportunity to work with an excellent team. The school recently was recognized as a "Professional School of Excellence" by the National Association of Special Education Teachers.

We have an excellent supportive staff of therapists to assist your role.

Job duties include :

• Designs and writes behavior intervention plans for students. Coordinates and oversees behavior intervention plan assessment, training, monitoring, and reporting utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
• Collaborates with teachers and the Special Education Director to develop behavior and social emotional goals for IEPs. Consults with team members about behavior plans currently in place.
• Provides staff with training and oversight in the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and behavior strategies. Provides staff resources, tools and modelling techniques if needed.
• Conducts functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments.
• Graphs and monitors student behavior data.
• Monitors and assists with challenging student behaviors when necessary.
• Develops Inservice All Staff training on a quarterly basis to support school wide best practices for behavior intervention strategies.

Excellent Compensation and Benefits! $85K + more for experience
