This position involves performing various duties such as installing and inspecting piping, troubleshooting and repairing pumps and other equipment used in the daily operations of the landfill. Responsibilities also include moving materials, managing leachate, digging ditches, and other general labor tasks. The role primarily involves outdoor maintenance work.

Work Environment :

The role is based at a landfill in Collinsville, AL, where employees maintain the leachate system. The work environment can be dirty and carries the scent of the landfill, requiring comfort with working in outdoor conditions in all weather. The shift is from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available, initially during weekdays, with potential for weekend work as familiarity with the site and duties increases.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collinsville, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
