Responsibilities :

  • Greet patients
  • Answer phones
  • Data entry
  • Registration and scheduling of patients
  • Collect copays, outstanding balances, and time of service monies
  • Verify insurance eligibility, obtain referrals, and prior authorizations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

  • Float between two office locations in Worcester and Westborough
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0-1 year in a customer service role
  • 0-1 year administrative experience in medical facility or related area preferred
  • Computer knowledge
  • People-oriented warm, professional, and helpful attitude
  • Calm and collected under pressure
  • Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgement
  • Motivated and adaptable-can effectively work alone or diligently with others
  • Receptive to change
