Role description : Arcadis is seeking a Nuclear Quality Manager to join the team in the United States. The Nuclear Quality Manager will provide leadership, maintenance and oversight of the Nuclear Quality Management System. The Nuclear Quality Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day Nuclear QMS activities and will report directly to the Global Quality Management Systems Director. This role is based in the United States supporting work globally.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation, administration, and monitoring of global Quality Management Systems (QMS) governance and Nuclear Quality Management (NQMS) systems within the country. Ensure compliance with established requirements and record any exceptions as necessary. Provide suggestions and recommendations for changes to the respective Global Quality Leaders.
- Governance
- Have the overall responsibility for establishing, maintaining and assuring effective implementation of the NQA-1, Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance to : ASME NQA-1 : 2008; ASME NQA-1a : 2009; ASME NQA-1 2024; DOE Order 414.1D, Quality Assurance Program of 10 CFR50, Appendix B; ISO 17025 : 2017; CSA N286; CSA N299; ISO 19433 : 2018; Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR); ensure in-country governmental regulations, legal and statutory requirements are met.
- Quality Process & Procedures
- Ensure indoctrination training is relevant, executed, and records of qualification and training are retained.
- Develop the nuclear audit / project plan annually, submit it for review and approval, review periodically, and revise as necessary to ensure risk mitigation. Support auditors in internal and external audits.
- Execute a minimum of five quality assurance audits within a period of three years, with at least one annually, to maintain certification.
- Ensure the Internal Audit program complies with requirements, maintains audit competencies, addresses corrective actions from audits in a timely manner, and verifies effectiveness.
- Develop new Quality Procedures to ensure compliance with changes in Nuclear Standards and client requirements.
- Report in-country Quality KPIs for deviations, audits, corrective actions, and lessons learned related to NQMS performance.
- Implement a continuous improvement process.
- Key Shared Accountabilities
- Maintain overall compliance with the Global Quality Management System.
- Contribute to and support the Global Integrated Management System (IMS) for Arcadis.
- Manage Quality resources to coordinate quality staff across projects.
- Develop Management Review content and chair meetings.
- Decision Rights
- Owns Global Nuclear Quality reporting.
- Influences Business Leaders, Operations Managers, Project Managers.
- Vetoes significant quality risks potentially causing business disruption and reputational damage.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor\'s or master's degree in engineering, science, quality, or business.Quality assurance-related experience, preferably in the nuclear power industry (DOE and DOD facilities).6 years of related experience and / or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.ISO 9001 : 2015 Knowledge.Certified Internal Auditor or willing to undergo training.ISO 17025 : 2017 Knowledge or willingness to learn.Why Arcadis?

We provide nine paid holidays and 15 days of PTO per year. The salary range for this position is $80,461.00–$165,951.00. Actual salaries vary based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
