Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is now accepting resumes for a Part Time / On Call Staff Nurse (16 tp 32 hours weekly) with experience in Occupational Health, ER, Urgent Care, Public School Nurse or Outpatient Clinic to work at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in Rockville, Maryland.
This comprehensive, ready to operate, health and wellness services program assists approximately 2, employees.
Demonstrate knowledge of the latest nursing principles, procedures, and their application in the occupational health setting;
knowledge of disease and illness symptoms for purposes of determining treatment; and experience in dealing with employees having physical, emotional or mental problems.
- Competent in administering immunizations, inoculations, medications, and emergency care for illness and injury of occupational origin;
- counseling employees on various health subjects; maintaining records and writing reports of activities; assuring orderliness and sanitation;
maintaining supplies and equipment; and performing routine office maintenance of medical equipment.
Utilize specified medical equipment, including positive pressure oxygen equipment and resuscitators; and knowledge of splint application;
and ability to use an automatic external defibrillator as necessary in emergency situations.
Responsible for entering medical information, updating records, writing reports of activities; assuring orderliness and sanitation;
maintaining supplies and equipment; and performing routine office maintenance of medical equipment.
Travel Requirements 0 - 10% Salary Grade Job Requirements
- Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) with a degree in Associate’s Degree in Nursing OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland.
- Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Two years of professional nursing experience which would include either 2 years of experience in an occupational medical program OR 2 years of experience in counseling employees OR 2 years of experience in conducting special medical programs or health education.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
