Position Summary :

CARBO is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as a Production Technologies Sales and Business Development Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, and establishing strong relationships with key players in the US land and US offshore E&P operators

Key Roles / Responsibilities :

  • Utilize past direct sales experience and present a strong book of business and extensive industry contacts within the US land and US offshore E&P operators.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of production, stimulation, and tracing chemicals, and effectively communicate the value of CARBO's innovative technologies to potential customers.
  • Develop and implement effective communication and negotiation strategies to successfully close sales deals and secure long-term partnerships with clients.
  • Show initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with making cold calls and proactively seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Leverage your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerBI, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint, to effectively analyze data, create powerful presentations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Be an active user of CRM systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, leads, and opportunities.
  • Utilize your strong business acumen and, preferably, an MBA or advanced degree to drive strategic initiatives and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.
  • Leverage your extensive 10+ years of experience, with the majority in sales, to add depth and expertise to our sales team.
  • Be willing to travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients, attend industry conferences, and contribute to CARBO's presence in the market.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree Business or other relevant field of study is required.
  • An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in similar roles, with a significant portion in direct sales.
  • Proven track record of direct sales experience, showcasing a strong book of business and industry contacts within the US land and US offshore E&P operators.
  • Deep knowledge of production tracers, scale, and other inhibition technologies, including the differences, regulations, and pricing strategies associated with each.
  • A solid understanding of production, stimulation, and tracing chemicals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value of CARBO's innovative products and technologies.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with making cold calls and proactively seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerBI, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, leads, and opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry conferences.

Working Conditions :

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
  • Moves throughout the building to access files.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
