Position Overview

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be fully accountable for driving revenue growth for the Company. Reporting to the CEO, the CCO will shape BGB Group's commercial vision, lead strategic initiatives that enhance market presence, strengthen existing client relationships, forge new client relationship, and ensure the successful launch and growth of new services and offerings. The CCO will bring deep expertise in pharmaceutical commercialization to align cross-functional efforts with the company's growth objectives and evolving industry landscape.

  • Building and leading a high-performance organization, including the Account Management, New Business Development, and Marketing teams

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Define and communicate the commercial vision, ensuring alignment with BGB's overall strategic plan. Serve as a thought leader in healthcare communications and commercialization.
  • Business Development : Spearhead initiatives to win new clients and expand existing relationships, with a focus on developing long-term partnerships in key therapeutic areas.
  • Healthcare Commercialization Expertise : Lead efforts to develop and launch innovative service offerings, including support for market access, medical education, payer engagement, and promotional campaigns.
  • Team Development : Build, mentor, and inspire a results-driven commercial team, providing tools and guidance to foster continuous professional growth.
  • Client-Centric Growth : Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their challenges and opportunities to provide tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Revenue and Profitability : Develop and implement pricing models, revenue forecasts, and profitability metrics to optimize business performance.
  • Market Intelligence : Conduct deep dives into therapeutic areas, emerging markets, and new technologies to anticipate client needs and position BGB as an industry leader.
  • Integrated Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, strategy, and medical experts, to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Go-to-Market Planning : Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new service offerings, ensuring clear differentiation and competitive positioning.
  • Commercial Operations : Establish scalable processes and tools to support consistent and measurable performance across all commercial functions.

  • Adaptability : A results-oriented mindset with the flexibility to navigate an evolving healthcare and communications landscape.

    • Salary range : $350,000 - $400,000 plus incentives

    The salary range provided is for the NYC-hybrid position, which requires occasional in-office presence, and represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. For candidates in other locations, salary will be adjusted to reflect local market rates. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
