Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of power equipment, located in East Metro!
This client is a 100 million dollar revenue subsidiary of a major organization and would report into their Controller, the accounting team consists of 3 total members, including this position.
Due to internal movement they are seeking an interim controller to assist with their day to day responsibilities.
Those responsibilities include :
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting including financial statements (income and balance sheets), variance analysis and updating forecasting
- Banking - pull reports and evaluate transactions
- Special projects i.e sales tax exemption certificates
The clients ERP is Microsoft Business Central / Dynamics 365 and experience with that is a major plus.
A strong accounting background and the ability to see the big picture as to how daily activity affects key areas of the business is required.
This individual will be tasked with working backwards to finds answers and thinking critically when reviewing data, so that if something seems inaccurate they can explore and figure out why.
Excel proficiency is also required (pivot tables / Vlookups are used often).
Duration :
This position will last 3-6 months as they coordinate the movement from the department and set a course forward.
Work Model :
The client is currently offering a hybrid environment, 1-2 days in office is preferred but they are able to be flexible pending the interim candidate's schedule.
Compensation :
$110,000 annual salary
