We are a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization with a rich and evolving culture, and we are seeking a Senior Director of Youth Services to provide strategic leadership and oversight to our youth-serving programs.

Location : Administrative Office with an active presence at Receiving Hope Center (RHC) and Girls’ Residential Program (GRP)
Position Summary : The Senior Director of Youth Programs is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of all youth-serving programs at Wellspring Living.
This role ensures that Program Directors effectively manage program operations and align the provision of services with the organization’s mission, vision, and core values.
The Senior Director will drive strategic initiatives, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage budgets, and foster high-quality service delivery to positively impact youth outcomes.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :
Leadership & Vision Casting :
- Under the direction of the Chief Program Officer, provide strategic leadership for youth programs, developing and implementing initiatives that support the organization's mission and vision.
- Champion a culture of high support and high expectations, empowering Program Directors and staff to excel in their roles.
Performance Management :
- Oversee the performance management process for Program Directors, ensuring accountability for program outcomes, staff development, and consistent execution of service delivery.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentorship, and implement professional development plans to enhance leadership capacity.
- Set clear goals and KPIs for each program and provide ongoing feedback to ensure success and alignment with strategic objectives.
Strategic Planning & KPI Development :
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for all youth-serving programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Regularly assess program data to inform decision-making and adjust strategies to enhance program outcomes.
Policy & Compliance Oversight :
- Conduct annual and as-needed reviews and updates of program policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and organizational values.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant governing bodies, including but not limited to the Department of Human Services, Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Juvenile Justice, Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, and Residential Child Care Licensing.
- Conduct random audits of program files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational policies and external regulatory requirements.
Provide reports on findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
Monitor compliance standards, contracts, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and maintain program integrity.
Staff Development & Training :
- Provide training and support to Program Directors and staff on interventions and approaches that align with Wellspring Living’s treatment philosophy.
- Promote a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to care, ensuring staff are well-equipped to meet the needs of youth participants.
- Provide basic HR guidance to Program Directors, including addressing employee relations issues, resolving conflicts, and supporting staff well-being.
- Collaborate with the HR department on staffing, hiring, and workforce planning for youth programs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to employee management, performance reviews, and development.
Budget & Financial Oversight :
- Oversee program budgets and spending, ensuring responsible financial management across all youth-serving programs.
- Work closely with the finance team to track expenditures, allocate resources effectively, and ensure programs operate within financial guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and ensure maximum impact with available resources.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement :
- Collaborate with external partners, community stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to strengthen the impact of youth programs.
- Represent Wellspring Living in various forums to advocate for the needs of vulnerable youth and promote the organization’s mission.
Professional Qualifications :
Previous management of residential program(s) with demonstrated effectiveness in meeting / exceeding program deliverables / outcomes and implementing growth initiatives.
Management of youth-serving program(s) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience working with youth who have experienced complex trauma. Experience serving survivors of sex trafficking strongly preferred.
- Experience with conducting trainings and presentations.
- Proven experience providing basic HR guidance, including performance management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and licensing regulations related to youth services.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and computer skills.
- Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations.
- Preferred Qualifications include bachelor's degree or higher in organizational leadership, public administration, social services, human services, non-profit management, or related field;
Master’s Degree preferred. TBRI Practitioner or willingness to obtain.
Position Requirements :
- Moderate travel among Wellspring Living locations and others in the Metro Atlanta area.
- Must be able to lift objects up to 25 pounds and have the ability to work for long periods at a computer.
- Satisfactory criminal history background check.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
