Requirements

• GA license
• 2-3 years experience preferred
• Primarily in Family Service Center, but must have both L&D and Mother / Baby experience
• ACLS
• AWHONN Intermediate
• AWHONN Advanced preferred

• First time travelers okay

• Medication System Pyxis
• Floating based on needs of the hospital within skillset

Position is primarily in Family Service Center, but must have both L&D and Mother / Baby experience.

Experience : 2-3 years experience preferred, first time travelers okayPatient Ratio : 1 : 6

Description of unit : Care of the pregnant patient through ante, intra, and post-partum stages as well as newborn care. Nurse should be functional both in labor and delivery and family care center.

Procedures : Cesarean Sections, External Versions, Inductions of Labor, assisting with Epidurals and Blood PatchesRequired certs : BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, FHM

Scrubs not provided, colors - shocking pink and black

FLOATING : yes - based on needs of the hospital within skillset

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS : RTO : MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not GuaranteedCall : may be schedule call on rare occasion

HOLIDAYS : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays.

If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
