Join our client's expanding team as a Controls Engineer , where you'll ensure the reliability and functionality of machinery and systems, driving productivity and maintaining high-quality and safety standards.
What You'll Do :
- Evaluate Systems : Analyze existing plant processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop Solutions : Design and modify programs for machinery, robotics, and third-party integration.
- Address Issues : Troubleshoot hardware and processes related to motion control, servo controls, and HMI.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, technicians, and service professionals.
- Maintain Standards : Ensure structured program formats for ease of understanding and consistency.
What You Bring :
- Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Professional Experience : 2-4 years in automation and robotics.
- Technical Expertise :
- Knowledge of motion control, servo controls, HMI, and packaging equipment.
- Understanding of machine motion terminology.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley, Fanuc, or PLC programming is preferred.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Analytical Skills : Strong cause-effect analysis capabilities to solve complex problems.
- Communication : Excellent skills for effective collaboration and troubleshooting.
