Job description
The Premier Group is currently looking for Pipefitters of all levels to join our team to work on various commercial projects located in San Antonio, TX, and the surrounding area.
1+ years of experience preferred, but not required. If you are looking for a new opportunity with a great company that values their employees, pays competitively, offers benefits on day one, and paid time off then look no further! Responsibilities of the Apprentice / Journeyman Pipefitters :
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of metallurgy
- Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and arc welding
- Knowledge in Stele
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
- Coordinate with other trades on site
- Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace
- Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites
Requirements of the Apprentice / Journeyman Pipefitters :
- 2+ years of commercial experience preferred
- Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- Reliable transportation with a good work ethic
- Ability to pass a drug screen required
