STORE MANAGER
1915 South / Ashley owns and operates 29 Ashley stores and 3 Distribution Centers across the southeast, and we continue growing. We are seeking a store manager who is integral in mentoring and training our sales associates, meeting our customers' needs and delivering an exceptional in-store experience for every guest, resulting in increased store sales, profitability, and customer loyalty.
The store manager will actively be present on the sales floor to promote customer engagement and sales. You will coach and develop the sales associates to reach store goals while maintaining the company's core values and Ashley standards. Store managers partner with the training location's regional manager in all business areas and with our trusted vendors to exceed our customers' expectations. You will also become part of the Ashley Furniture family, a highly engaged group that values coaching, mentoring, and growth while building customer loyalty within the community.

Job Duties
Lead and manage the daily operations of the store to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet all sales and profitability targetsDevelop, coach, and mentor the leadership team and sales associates to ensure consistent execution and performanceDrive a performance-based culture focused on sales metrics, conversion, average ticket, and other KPIsAnalyze business trends and make informed decisions to improve store resultsEnsure all operational processes (opening / closing procedures, scheduling, payroll, inventory, merchandising) are executed with excellencePromote and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintain high standards of visual presentation and showroom readinessFoster a team culture that prioritizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementAddress and resolve escalated customer service issues with urgency and carePartner with regional director and market leaders to align on company initiatives and strategic goalsLead store meetings and ensure communication flows effectively to all team membersOversee staffing plans, hiring, and succession planning to ensure the right people are in the right rolesRepresent the company brand with professionalism and integrity in all external and internal interactionsStay informed of industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activityJob Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred3–5 years of experience in retail leadership, preferably in a high-volume or furniture environmentDemonstrated success in managing sales performance and leading teams to exceed goalsStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop othersProficient in using POS systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilitiesFlexible schedule availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidaysAbility to stand for extended periods
