About The Position
Job Title : Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Job Specialty : General Surgery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shifts, 8 hours (6 : 45 AM - 3 : 15 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of current CST experience required License : NBSTSA certification required Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have : Ability to take call as needed- Willingness to work every other weekend- Availability for holidays as needed- Personal vehicle required for this role Job Description : Organize services related to surgical specialties to ensure quality patient care and cost-effective service.
- Provide a focal point for information related to surgical services for staff and physicians.- Ensure continuity of care throughout the perioperative period, managing all aspects of equipment availability and functionality.
- Participate in the coordination of surgical services to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.- Adhere to COVID-19 vaccination requirements, or provide applicable exemption documentation with approval.
- Participate in a required orientation and complete necessary CORI / SIR searches upon offer acceptance.- Handle call duties as required, with a commitment to work specified weekends and holidays.
