As a Software QA Engineer at Trevipay, you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

You will collaborate closely with our development team to identify, document, and track software defects, as well as to develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality.

What will I be doing?

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Develop and execute well-structured test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, acceptance, and End-to-End Testing on various software applications and systems.
  • Document and track software defects using Jira and work closely with developers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automated UI and API test scripts to streamline the testing process.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives, to contribute to the overall development process.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

What do I need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance / testing.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in both manual and automation testing.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in UI and API automation testing.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Testim, RestAssured, Postman.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Performance testing tools such as K6, JMeter, Site speed, etc.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines and tools.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application frameworks.
  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
  • Self-directed, willing to take initiative, and proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
