UW Medical Center - Montlake is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team.
THE L&D UNIT
- We have 150 deliveries a month (as a quaternary care hospital).
- 70% of our OB moms are high risk with neonates, medically complex co-morbidities.
- We provide care for up to 14 antepartum patients, 9 L & D patients, 18 postpartum mother / baby pairs.
- We have antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum services.
- We staff according to AWHONN standards.
- We are a certified WHO-Baby Friendly Hospital.
- Will provide outpatient services if needed.
SCHEDULE
36 hours / week, 12-hour night shifts.
REQUIREMENTS
- One or more years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Have / obtain a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Washington.
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- New to OB - two or more years of critical care or inpatient acute care nursing.
