Other Compensation : In addition to base pay, this position may also be eligible for :

• $10,000 sign-on bonus
• BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00 / hour
• Certification premium - $1.25 / hour
• Night premium - $4.50 / hour
• Weekend premium - $4.00 / hour
• Overtime pay

UW Medical Center - Montlake is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team.

THE L&D UNIT

• We have 150 deliveries a month (as a quaternary care hospital).
• 70% of our OB moms are high risk with neonates, medically complex co-morbidities.
• We provide care for up to 14 antepartum patients, 9 L & D patients, 18 postpartum mother / baby pairs.
• We have antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum services.
• We staff according to AWHONN standards.
• We are a certified WHO-Baby Friendly Hospital.
• Will provide outpatient services if needed.

SCHEDULE

36 hours / week, 12-hour night shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

• One or more years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Have / obtain a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Washington.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• New to OB - two or more years of critical care or inpatient acute care nursing.
