Senior Mechanical Designer

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate inputs and requirements from Engineering and Project teams to produce design solutions

Develop detailed engineering models, drawings, specifications, and testing documentation

Mentor junior engineers and subcontractors while supporting continuous learning and best practices in the nuclear industry

Required Qualifications

Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred

Minimum of 10 years of equipment / component design experience

Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD or equivalent CAD software

Experience with GD&T and familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
