About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Tech Location : Eagle Pass, TX Duration : 13 Weeks Contract Pay Rate : $2,200-2,400 Weekly Shift : 6 : 30am to 3 : 30pm, Monday to Friday, 8 to 12 hours a day (depends on cases) On Call : Yes, every other weekend and sometimes 2 to 3 days a week on the week you are on call must live 100 miles away Job Duties :
Responsible for planning and preparing for the surgical procedure and assisting the surgeon.
Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and to assemble scheduled and emergency case carts.
Required :
- Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) required
- 2 years of scrubbing experience in an operating room setting
- BLS certification required
