Director of Nursing
Type : Full-Time
Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead and manage our nursing department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care, possess excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and manage nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Manage budget and resources effectively to optimize department performance.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing feedback and implementing training programs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practice and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications :
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant healthcare technologies.
