This role offers the opportunity to interact with senior leadership across the Company while working collaboratively to address complex business challenges.

The Director of Corporate Finance is responsible for running financial planning, analysis and forecasting ( F,P&A ), as well as internal corporate finance functions for the company.

The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical skills, but is able to i) build and manage new processes and initiatives and drive forward progress towards our goals, with modest oversight and ii) coordinate across functional areas (revenue operations, capital markets, funding operations, business intelligence, sales) to impact key strategic, financial and business outcomes for the Company.

In addition, the Director of Corporate Finance should have strong communications skills, able to present to all levels of the organization as well as to outside stakeholders (board, investors, funding counter parties, etc).

Responsibilities :

• Provide CFO and senior management with timely, accurate and comprehensive views, with detailed and flexible Excel models and BI support, into near term and long range business and financial forecasts.
• Partner with Capital Markets to i) evaluate financial and accounting impact of complex funding strategies including warehouse facilities and ABS transactions, ii) monitor, amend & extend existing finance facilities, and iii) ensure accurate & timely financial reporting to capital partners and rating agencies.
• Create ad hoc financial impact analyses and presentations for strategic decisions across the company (e.g. new products, pricing changes, funding structures, hiring, etc).
• Help draft investor, executive leadership, and board meeting materials, and other ad hoc materials.
• Help oversee and develop or improve policies and procedures around internal corporate finance functions such as insurance, financial risk management and corporate-level liquidity management.
• Partner with Financial Operations team to support whole loan sales, hedging strategy & related financial reporting, and asset / portfolio level reporting & compliance, as needed.
• Provide analytical support in driving the target setting and planning processes, including finance KPIs and metrics; and enhance visibility and decision-making support to financial and cross-functional leadership.
• This is a hands-on role, the Director will need to contribute to and help project manage various ad hoc strategic initiatives, alongside CFO.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture and help mentor and guide more junior personnel.
• In partnership with CFO, collaborate with internal and external accounting personnel to ensure timely & accurate financial statement and audit delivery to various stakeholders.

Qualifications :

• 7-10+ years of a combination of FP&A, corporate finance, and financial accounting.
• BS / BA in economics, business, finance or a similar, relevant discipline.
• MBA a plus but not required.
• Advanced knowledge of and ability to work effectively in Excel.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint or other similar software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Solar experience a plus but not required.
• GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Successful working independently in fast-paced and dynamic environments, strong decision making ability.
• COVID-19 Vaccinated.
