Job Title : School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location : Tuskegee, AL, and surrounding areas
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide exceptional services to students in Tuskegee, AL, and the surrounding areas.
As a School-Based SLP, you will play a vital role in helping students develop and improve their munication skills within an educational setting.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct prehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and munication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' munication needs.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' goals and progress.
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and other staff members regarding strategies to promote effective munication within the classroom.
Requirements :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Valid Alabama state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certification of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is desirable but not required.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
