B. Hunt trailers and other equipment. Under routine supervision, you must be able to troubleshoot issues and complete all fleet maintenance to ensure that our equipment meets J.

Hunt standards at all times.Job Description : Demonstrate proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance and standard repairs related to trailer equipment, including fuel systems, batteries, engines, drive trains, onboard computers, transmissions, air brake systems and FHWA inspectionsTroubleshoot trailer issues and accurately perform intermediate-level repairs to company and manufacturer’s specifications, complete work orders and demonstrate understanding of company requirements for standard repair times (SRT) and warranty guidelinesAssist with the onboarding and mentorship of trailer technician traineesParticipate in Original Equipment Manufacture training for OE repairsUnderstand and effectively follow all shop safety proceduresMaintain professional communication with J.

Hunt's Technician Career Advancement (TCA) program.Minimum Qualifications : Must be 18 years of age with 1 or more years of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of education and experience, or military equivalentAND Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiencesMust be A / C certifiedMust be DOT certified in FHWA inspections and air brakesAble to supply your own basic tools, or purchase through our toolbox purchase programWillingness to work outdoors in the elementsAble to work across multiple shifts, including nights and / or weekends if neededCompensation : Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
