Hourly Range : $36.73 - $60.93
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse to join our high-functioning team. This specialty unit cares for patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgeries, as well as other related procedures.
We welcome applications from new RN graduates to experienced RNs looking to expand their skill set. Advanced skills preferred but not required include cardiac rhythm interpretation and management, familiarity with vasoactive & antiarrhythmic medications, and management of chest tubes.
Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders and administer medications
- Assess patient needs and provide care
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel
Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduate of a professional nursing program
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- 1-3 years of clinical RN experience
