The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our procurement activities to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
This role requires strong quantitative skills, a deep understanding of procurement processes, and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
The role will support all Procure-to-Pay and Strategic Category Management process continuous improvement initiatives to help deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and compile data from various sources such as Coupa, SAP, and other 3rd Party Platforms.
- Clean, validate, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Perform quantitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop robust procurement data models and simulations to optimize negotiations and sourcing, aiming to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key procurement metrics using Power BI.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner through visualizations and presentations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data for procurement initiatives.
- Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes through data analysis and recommend solutions for optimization.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quantitative and qualitative data.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within finance, procurement, or supply chain management.
SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Excel, SQL)
- Knowledge of Coupa, SAP, and other supply chain technology platforms is a plus.
