Analytical Lab Manager
Summary : Seeking an Analytical Lab Manager with expertise in surface and failure analysis for high volume electronics manufacturing.
Job Requirements :
B.S. / M.S. / Ph.D. in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or related field
Strong background in analytical and sample preparation techniques such as SEM / EDXRF, FTIR, TGA, DSC, and microscopy
Experience with laboratory safety protocols and procedures
Preferred Skills :
5-10 years of experience in failure analysis of electronic components and devices
Knowledgeable in solder joint reliability, PWBs, microelectronics, encapsulants, adhesives, and plating systems
Familiarity with metal and solder properties in electronics packaging
Job Responsibilities :
Contribute to process effects understanding on materials used in electronics manufacturing through Quality Assurance and Reliability Analytical Lab analyses
Employ problem-solving tools including design of experiments and failure mode effect analysis
Oversee laboratory operations with previous supervisory experience
Pay Details : $35.00 to $50.00 per hour
