Hours : Full-time
Caseload : K-12 students
Pay : $52 - $58 / hour depending on experience
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Kennewick. This role is essential in supporting the mental health and educational needs of our diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct student initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and testing.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with diverse needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student well-being and academic success.
- Provide counseling and support services to students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address student needs and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support crisis intervention and contribute to creating a positive school environment.
Qualifications :
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist.
- Proven experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong understanding of psychological principles and educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to different locations and student needs.
- Masters degree in School Psychology.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
