Job Description
NETZSCH Pumps USA is looking for an independent, mechanically-inclined individual to work as a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will service NETZSCH pumps in the field and at the shop.
This position can be based out of our Exton, PA or Houston, TX location.
To provide our customers with exceptional service and meet their needs, the Field Service Technician will perform the following duties among others :
- Providetechnical services to clients relating to set up, use, operation and maintenance of NETZSCH equipment.
- Mechanical assembly & troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies produced by NETZSCH Pumps USA.
- Train Customers and Distributor mechanics of assembly and disassembly procedures for NETZSCH Pumps.
- Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement.
- Tests or assists in testing operation of completed product.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED; or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a hands on mechanical field.
In addition, candidates should have :
- Competent & knowledgeable in the use of various machine and hand tools.
- Strong self-motivation and able to work independently with some direction
- Valid driver’s license and current passport or the ability to obtain upon hire.
- Ability to travel overnight up to 60-70%
- The ability to work from our facility in either Exton, PA or Houston, TX when not performing service work in the field.
