Job Details
- Must have oncology experience. Sickle cell experience and chemo certified are strongly preferred
- No block schedule
- 36 or 48 hours
- Their application must show some 1 : 5 ratio experience in the Work History section for Stepdown (SD) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU);
ICU experience does not count towards SD / PCU experience at this facility
Targeted patient ratios are 1 : 4, but they can be up to 1 : 5-6
Job Requirements
- Must have EPIC experience
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- BLS & ACLS certifications are required - must be able to read and interpret strips
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the High-Risk Respiratory Unit (HRRU) unless PAPR is offered / needed
- 1.5 years experience and some level 1 or 2 preferred
- Travel experience preferred
Schedule Information
- Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
- Traveler must be available to work every other weekend / holiday
- Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract / 2 shifts for 8-week contract
- Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine

- We are a 35-bed medical and radiation oncology unit
- Specializing in oncology and hematology patients
- Mixed acuity : Med Surg and Advanced Care patients
- Seeing blood products and chemotherapy patients, among other skills
Additional Details
- RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion
- Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report; other certs not needed if listed on the application
