Company Background : At Miller-Keystone Blood Center, our mission is to save lives by partnering with our community to provide a continuous supply of blood services to our community.
Position Summary : We are hiring mobile phlebotomists who enjoy interacting with the public and being part of a team that helps save lives through community blood drives.
Our phlebotomists draw voluntary blood product donations from healthy donors who want to make a difference by saving lives.
HOURS : - Full Time - Must be available to work both AM and PM shifts.
Shifts - 7am to 3pm and 12pm to 8pm with every other weekend, and rotating holidays required.
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Competency in taking manual blood pressure and pulse.
- Ability to work with computers and tablets, a plus.
- Customer service experience.
- Flexibility.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
- A valid driver's license and personal transportation is required.
Pay and Bonuses :
- Starting Rate is $17 per hour.
- 6 months performance review
- New Hire Bonuses : You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus.
Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.
