Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) is part of Nuvance Health™, a network of seven hospitals and numerous outpatient facilities throughout the Hudson Valley and across western Connecticut.
Located just 75 minutes north of New York City and on the banks of the scenic Hudson River, VBMC currently sees approximately 680 annual deliveries and 1,050 annual unscheduled outpatient triage visits.
VBMC offers a Level III NICU, lactation consultations, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and private maternity suites with room service.
VBMC prides itself on excellent communication between teams, collaborative work environments, and an advanced EMR system.
Ob Hospitalist Group is seeking a BC / BE OB / GYN physician to join our core team at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. To build a strong core team at this facility, full-time and part-time shifts are currently available.
As an OBHG program, this role is a perfect opportunity for the ideal candidate to step into leadership with unlimited growth potential.
Our full-time Physician role offers :
- Guaranteed shifts scheduled 90 days in advance
- 24 hr. shift model with 21+ days off a month

Typical workday as a Hospitalist may include :
- Handle Ob emergencies / Deliver babies
- Collaborate with local physicians
- Evaluate and treat triage patients
- Provide leadership on L&D
- Perform surgeries / Surgical assists
- Care for unassigned patients
- Educate residents and Med students
