Electrical Distribution Engineer
Job Title : Engineer 1 / 2 (Distribution)

Job Description :
Experience in planning level utility projects including voltage conversions, feeder additions, Overhead to Underground feeder conversions, reliability improvements.
Significant experience dealing with commercial / industrial customers with complex distributions systems. (i.e. Network, Auto-Transfer multi-feeder, Distribution Ductline) Significant Electric Utility Project Management Experience including organized approach, time management of multiple projects, strong communication skills, ability to create and manage construction timelines , lead pre-construction meetings.
Experience with Construction Standards.
Distribution High Voltage Switching experience to predict needs.
3 to 5 years of Distribution Experience on Southern Company System.
multiple leased workers needed, must have necessary PPE (EH rated steel toe boots, FR clothing), need cell phone, must have valid driver license with vehicle for commute between project sites
