Responsibilities
Client Acquisition : Identify and pursue new commercial clients to expand the agency's business portfolio.
Risk Assessment : Evaluate clients' insurance requirements and provide customized solutions to address their specific needs.
Policy Management : Monitor and update commercial insurance policies to ensure coverage adequacy and compliance.
Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, providing ongoing support and guidance.
Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to provide competitive insurance solutions to clients.
Requirements
Licensing : Active Ohio Property and Casualty Insurance License required
Experience : Previous experience in commercial insurance sales or related field required
Knowledge : Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and policy development
Detail-Oriented : Ability to pay attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in policy creation and documentation
Sales Skills : Proven ability to generate new business and build lasting relationships with clients
Team Player : Collaborative approach to working with colleagues and supporting the agency's overall goals
