Job Title : Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
Mid-Shift
nWe're seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in a facility setting for individuals with intellectual disabilities and medically fragile conditions.
nResponsibilities :
- Deliver individualized nursing care.
- Float to other units as required.
- Administer medication to individuals taking multiple medications.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
nRequirements :
- Active Texas RN License.
- AHA BLS Certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with larger med pass.
- COVID
- 19 vaccination.
nAdditional Information :
- week contract, 40
- hour work week.
- Shifts : 2 : 00 pm
- 10 : 00 pm, 5 days a week, every other weekend.
- week orientation, starting bi-monthly.
- Familiarity with the Iris / Cerner EMR system is a plus.
nIdeal candidates have experience in nursing homes. Please note, that agency nurses may be required to float to other units as needed.
