A Research Associate II position is available in the Department of Immuno-Oncology. This is a fast-paced lab that aims to novel cancer immunotherapy approaches.
This position would be for a research team member to perform animal studies and immune analyses. New personnel will be trained on custom developed animal protocols and immune analysis pipelines.
As a successful candidate, your key responsibilities would include :
- Tumor inoculations and measurements in animals
- Animal tissues processing and cell subsets isolation
- Flow cytometry-based assays for immune analysis
- Bulk RNA and DNA isolation for next-generation sequencing
- Single cell RNA sequencing library preparation
- Facilitate routine laboratory maintenance and organization
- Essential functions include : communication, collaboration initiative, professionalism, stewardship, and teamwork
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.Masters degree preferred
- 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 1+ year related experience with a Master’s degree.
