UACL Logistics, LLC a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holding, Inc. is currently seeking a Director of National Accounts.

UACL Logistics, LLC provides Flatbed, Van, Over Dimensional, Oilfield, Reefer and Logistics Services throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

As one of the strongest truckload carriers in the nation UACL Logistics, LLC has the ability to provide transportation services for our customers, agents, and owner operators.

The ideal candidate will possess the following :

  • Successful history in sales and business development
  • Experience leading a team of individual contributors
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and best practices
  • Strong business acumen
  • Acquisition and merger experience
  • Confident, decisive with strong negotiation, problem solving and closing skills
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
  • A bachelor's degree in business / logistics or equivalent is preferred but not required
  • Have the wherewithal, confidence, and social aptitude to carry out business development responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Lead and oversee new business and business development
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with new and existing customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
  • Drive operational efficiencies to improve service, financial performance and revenue growth
  • Develop, lead and manage personnel
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs and volume potential
  • Guide standardization of analytics and KPIs across sales departments to ensure consistency and accuracy
