Data Entry Specialist

As a Data Entry / Fingerprinting Specialist at the Children's Refugee Shelter, in association with Teneo Linguistics Company, you'll be contributing to the safety and streamlined operations of a sanctuary dedicated to serving refugee children.

Each entry and scan you perform safeguards a child's journey, ensuring they receive the care, protection, and future they deserve.

Key Responsibilities :

• Accurately input relevant data into the shelter's database system, ensuring all details are up-to-date and organized.
• Conduct fingerprinting processes for our personnel, as part of the shelter's security and identification protocols.
• Verify the accuracy of existing data, correcting any discrepancies and maintaining data integrity.
• Collaborate with various departments, such as HR and Admin, to obtain necessary information and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality protocols, ensuring that sensitive information remains secure.
• Maintain and calibrate fingerprinting equipment, ensuring its consistent functionality.
• Generate regular reports as required by the Site Manager or Program Director.

Requirements

• Previous experience in data entry, fingerprinting, or related fields.
• Proficiency in using database software and fingerprinting equipment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for fingerprinting equipment.
• Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, are considered an advantage though not mandatory.
