Responsibilities :
Quality Assurance : Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance programs for all laboratory departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
MLS Program Management : Direct and manage the medical laboratory science (MLS) program, including curriculum development, student supervision, and program evaluation.
Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time in the laboratory.
Training and Education : Develop and deliver training programs for laboratory staff on quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Collaboration : Collaborate with laboratory leadership, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Data Analysis : Analyze laboratory data to identify trends, monitor performance, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
Education : Master's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Certification and Licensure : ASCP-BOC or ASCP-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist.
Experience : Relevant experience in laboratory quality management and / or MLS program leadership.
Skills :
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
