Now Hiring General Laborer in York Haven, PA!

First Shift : M-F 7a-3 : 30p

$21 / hr

Growth Opportunity!

The ideal candidate would be someone that is detail-oriented, a basic knowledge of angles and measurements, self-motivated, self-sufficient, and a quick learner of new skills.

Responsibilities

• Break down molds of concrete pieces that have cured overnight.
• Pull out 'green concrete' from the molds, clean out the molds, and scrape out excess concrete.
• Prepare the forms for the next pour.
• Operate a saw to cut concrete as needed.
• Prepare molds and set in re-bar with spacers.
• Clean up the work area by sweeping and shoveling concrete scraps.
• Assist in smoothing poured concrete in the afternoon to allow it to cure overnight.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in construction or heavy manufacturing settings.
• Basic math skills and ability to convert measurements.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure with 1 / 16 inch accuracy.
• Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs or more regularly throughout the workday.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Direct experience with concrete manufacturing, preferably pre-cast and / or re-bar.
