Position Type : Full Time
Pay : Starting at $30per hour based on experience
Location : Near Stockton, California
Case Load : Various case loads available (Elementary, Middleand High School)
- Provide sign language interpretation services to students in educational settings.
- Facilitate munication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their peers, teachers, and other school staff.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring sign language interpretation services.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure students' needs are met effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and staff.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Sign Language Interpretation or related field preferred.
- Certification from a recognized sign language interpreter program.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other forms of sign language as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
