plan A, a boutique event planning agency in Beverly Hills, is looking for an experienced, highly motivated and detail-oriented event manager who can provide customer-centric event production services and overall event support at the highest level possible.
This is a hands-on, full-time events position that will work on a variety of upcoming 2025 programs simultaneously :
- Corporate meetings & conferences in New York, Houston & Miami
- Private group trips
- Large non-profit Gala in Los Angeles
- and more so we are excited to hire a quick learner & strong event professional.

We offer an intimate office setting with a small team and quiet(ish) space in a great location.
Responsibilities :
- Act as point person for several events reporting to the Owner
- Handle event logistics and coordination of multiple programs simultaneously
- Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and be responsive to clients
- Maintain accuracy, organization and efficiency with all tasks
- Pitch in on other projects as needed one team approach
- Demonstrate impeccable customer service and a desire for excellence
Duties : Manage the pre-planning and execution of events and their multiple facets including, but not limited to :
- Managing, sourcing & contracting vendors and venues
- Program development
- Speaker contracts and management
- Sourcing, negotiating, and planning transportation
- Managing timelines, expense reports, contracts and budgets
- Track & manage food & beverage minimums and all venue BEO’s
- Organizing, updating, and maintaining Excel & Google Doc spreadsheets
- Researching event venues, attractions, entertainment, dining, products, and gifting
- Event marketing functions with Cvent experience being a plus
- Track event deliverables
- Event registration
- Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking notes on client calls
Qualifications :
- 3-4+ years event industry experience
- Agile thinker who can manage and organize a lot of incoming information and detail
- Can do attitude with familiarity of the above tasks, documents and responsibilities
- Displays intelligence, resourcefulness, poise, creativity and forward thinking
- Must be highly detail-oriented and consistently accurate
- Is self-motivated and displays initiative
- Brings high level of customer service to dealing with clients and vendors
- Has excellent written and oral communications skills and displays proficiency & professionalism
- Possesses proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel) and can pick up other platforms easily
- Has strong multitasking skills and knows how to prioritize tasks
- Is responsible and sensitive to confidentiality issues
- Works well both independently and within a team
- Is comfortable working in a small office environment directly with owner
Requirements :
- 3-4+ years corporate event experience
- Resides in Los Angeles, CA
- Able to work from office in Beverly Hills, CA
- Prior YPO experience a great plus
- Cvent Experience is a huge plus
- Will require some weekend event days and occasional travel for out of town events
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
