Job Description :

Dedicated drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. Unlike some driver positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of miles each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck.

And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.

• Competitive pay :
• Average $1,529 per week / $79,500 per year
• Starting pay .67 cpm
• Average 300-450 miles per day, but will vary
• Stop pay of $18.75 per stop
• Average 25 stops per week
• Average stop is 30 min.
• Unload pay of $31.25 load when helping to unload
• Home every night
• Shifts are consistent
• Start between 5 a.m. Monday-Friday
• Finish between 3 : 30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
• Begin your route in Auburn, GA and deliver to customers in AL, GA, SC and TN
• 5 dispatches per week
• Hook to pre-loaded trailers to start the day
• Deliver doors to retail and non-retail locations
• Drivers are expected to assist in the unloading process by moving the doors to the back of the trailer
• Provided hard hats and vests must be worn when out of the truck on the property
• Steel toe shoes required, driver will need to purchase

• Must live within a 75-mile radius
• Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Must have a Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI or DWI within the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations for a moving violation within the past 5 years
• No serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with a fatality)
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Essential functions :

• Load freight -lift requirement : 80 lbs
• Unload freight - lift requirement : 80 lbs
• Move freight - force requirement : 54 lbs
• Lift and move side kits -lift requirements : 46 lbs
• Lift tarp - lift requirement : 110 lbs
• Apply and remove tarp(s) on load
• Secure load with chains and hardware -lift requirements : 80 lbs
• Climb onto and off flatbed trailer / load
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Complete delivery receipt
• Hook / Unhook trailer - force requirement : 90 lbs
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive
• Extensive travel - ability to sit upright for extended periods of time.
• Regular predictable attendance
