- ) is looking for a qualified and talented and experienced Civil Engineering professional to join our plan check team in Redlands, CA.

- The Position's Duties Include :
- Provides Plan Checking services to our multiple municipal and public agency clients.
- Reviews engineering documents such as Grading, Street Improvement, Storm Drain, Sewer, and similar plans for agreement with standards, codes, and sound engineering practice.
- Reviews survey documents such as lot line adjustments, parcel mergers, legal descriptions and other similar survey documents agreement with standards, codes, and sound practice.
- Reviews drainage documents such as hydrology studies, WQMPs, SWPPPs, and other similar documents.
- Reviews traffic documents such as signing / striping, street light plans, and other similar documents.
- Interfaces directly with clients and engineers of record in regards to plans in review.
- Occasionally provides insight and support to design team members for completion of civil design projects.
- Various other duties as required by management.
- The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will assist ERSC's team of professional staff in the execution of plan checking engineering, survey, and water quality related documents. The candidate will be reviewing a wide variety of civil engineering, survey, and water quality related documents for land development projects within multiple agencies and cities. As project progress, the candidate interfaces directly with the related clients and developer's engineers as necessary to provide information and complete reviews of documents.
QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or similar field;Minimum of 7 years' experience in the discipline;Expert knowledge of applicable engineering codes, regulations, CA traffic guidance, and engineering practice;Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related computer programs.
