About The Position
Primary Care physician needed for full-time coverage at Federal Correctional Institute in Oklahoma. ANY State License
- Board Certified / Eligible not required - will consider General Practitioners
- Facility located in El Reno, OK (roughly 30 minutes west of Oklahoma City)
- Coverage dates : ASAP 6-month initial contract, with the ability to extend
- Credentialing timeframe : 10-12 weeks
- Weekly schedule : Mon-Fri , working 8-hour shifts (usually 7a 3 : 30p )
- Average 10-15 patients per day, all adults, all male
- Standard Primary Care cases : sick / well visits, some chronic care coverage like hypertension / diabetes, light trauma cases such as suturing
- Facility uses EMR (BEMR system)
