Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time position within school districts in the Wilmington, DE area.
We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Monitor and record student progress, making adjustments to interventions as necessary.
- Assist with skill acquisition programs focusing on communication, social skills, and adaptive behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations regarding behavior intervention practices.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
Requirements :
- Must be certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Must meet Delawarestate requirements for RBTs, including :
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training course.
- Passing the RBT Competency Assessment.
- Successful completion of the RBT exam.
- Maintenance of RBT certification through ongoing supervision and continuing education.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
